PACIFIC PALISADES FIRE

In light of the recent events, I wanted to let you know that our thoughts remain with every member of the Pacific Palisades who was affected by this devastating disaster.

To those that have lost their homes, memories and peace - know that you're not alone. In dark times like this, it's the strength of the community and the compassion we extend to one another that help carry us forward. To all the firefighters and first responders who've risked their lives to protect us, thank you so much for your service. Know that all your efforts have not gone unnoticed. And to all the families trying to rebuild - we see you, we support you and we'll continue to stand with you.

Times like this test the bonds between us, but also reveals the inherent goodness that exists within our humanity. Let's continue to show up for one another. Whether it's through providing a donation, a warm meal, a helping hand, a place to stay or giving an ear to listen to those who've been affected.

Together, we'll help the members of the Pacific Palisades heal, rebuild, and grow stronger.

With heartfelt sympathy and unwavering support,

Marina del Rey

Marina Del Rey is a beachside community located on the Westside region of Los Angeles. It is known for its marina, which is the largest man-made small-craft harbor in North America. The area is also home to a variety of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, biking as well as a range of restaurants, bars and shops.

Living in Marina Del Rey can be expensive compared to other areas in Los Angeles. The cost of living, including housing, transportation and food is higher than the national average. However, residents enjoy a high quality of life with access to numerous amenities and a relaxed, coastal lifestyle. The area is also known for its diverse community, with residents from all walks of life, including young professionals, families and retirees.

The weather is generally mild, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to mid 70s throughout the year. In terms of transportation, Marina Del Rey is well-connected to other parts off Los Angeles with several major freeways and public transit options, including buses and light rail. However, traffic can be heavy during peak hours, especially on the 405 freeway, which runs nearby.

Overall, living in Marina Del Rey offers a unique blend of coastal living, outdoor recreation and urban amenities, albeit at a higher cost.
